Digital Painting Portfolio/Welcome

Hello. This is Mike Hiscott, and I'd like to thank you for checking out this portfolio. I'm a digital artist with social gaming experience. Temporarily, I will be using this blog to display work I've done until my new website is ready. In this blog, you will find 3 sections of work. The first is my digital painting portfolio. The second is my vector based work, and the third is dedicated to fan art.

Digital Painting Portfolio:

In 2009-2010, I had worked with Hitgrab Inc. on various projects. One such project I've contributed heavily to is Mousehunt; a game available on Facebook. I mainly did mouse designs, though I also drew weapons and baits. Everything in this section is the property of Hitgrab, though created by me.

I also had the opportunity while there to contribute a few images to another title. Levynlight. (As well as a related game known as Mythmonger.)

These following images are personal work, not associated with any specific projects.

Vector Portfolio

In early 2010, I had the opportunity to set the visual tone for a potential project for Hitgrab Inc. The intention was to create a vector based art style that was distinct from most of the games you would see on Facebook. As a result, these works helped to establish the art direction for the project. All images within this section are the property of Hitgrab Inc., though are created by me. The sole exception in this case is the logo text on the poster image. That is the work of Francisco Garcia Jimenez.

Fan Art Portfolio

In August of 2010, I attended FanExpo for the first time as a vendor in artists alley. It seemed like a good opportunity to put together some fanart from my current favorite games.

It also seemed like a good time to draw my all time favorite meme and men's hygiene spokesperson. The Old Spice Guy.

More recently, I had the opportunity to get my work printed in the upcoming Udon Entertainment Mega Man Tribute art book.
